We're seeking an experienced Transport Scheduler for our Australian operation, responsible for managing transport requirements related to customer deliveries, returns, and fleet movement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create cost-effective and optimized transport plans to meet business needs.
  2. Manage transport requirements aligned with vendor agreements, ensuring seamless operations.
  3. Maintain accurate transport records for performance analysis and notify customers of delivery times.
  4. Organize inter-company equipment transport, utilizing backloads and consolidated loads.
  5. Monitor vendor performance, escalating failures when necessary.
  6. Process purchase orders, invoices, and cost reallocations efficiently, filing all relevant documentation accurately.

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of experience in transport planning, with technical proficiency in Microsoft tools and ERP systems.
  2. Strong customer focus, with urgency for creative solutions and attention to detail.
  3. Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments, collaborating with colleagues and self-directing tasks.
  4. Technical skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, transportation management software.
  5. Soft skills: strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and analytical skills.
