Job Summary


We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Tumby Bay Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our Registered Nurses/Midwives in their daily tasks.



Responsibilities


Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Providing person-centred care by engaging with patients/clients, making decisions, and taking initiative to plan and complete nursing care tasks within scope of practice.
  • Supporting the Registered Nurse/Midwife in providing comprehensive nursing care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and documenting patient information.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, including medical history, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care and support to patients and their families.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:



  • An Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • A current practicing certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
