About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Counsellor - Generalist to join our team in Brisbane North. As a Counsellor, you will play a vital role in supporting couples, families, and individuals who are experiencing relationship challenges, separation, and divorce. Your expertise will help clients navigate these complex issues and develop strategies to build stronger, more resilient relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized case plans to address client needs.
  • Provide solution-focused brief therapy interventions to empower clients to achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve service targets.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or Human Services.
  • Experience in conducting client risk assessments and developing case plans.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to consult, negotiate, and liaise effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to work within a child-focused and whole-of-family framework.
