The Role:

As a Software Engineer – Core Java, you will work at the heart of our trading systems. Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering focused improvements to operational robustness and profitability
  • Contributing to mission-critical projects covering everything from trading, pricing, positions, and risk, through to analytics and market connectivity
  • Working flexibly with a focus on real-time issues as well as long-term projects
  • Performance tuning to maximize throughput and minimize latency
  • Consulting with the trading team to understand how technology can best satisfy their needs

What You Will Bring:

  • Core Java expertise
  • Development skills in C++ or C#
  • Scripting language proficiency, preferably Python
  • Experience working in High Frequency Trading firms
  • Experience working in both Windows and Linux Environments
  • Understanding of network protocols
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A genuine interest in financial markets
  • Strong academic record in computer science
