Job Overview

The role of a Cash Management Specialist is to ensure efficient liquidity within the region. The incumbent will deliver effective cash, funding, and asset management while preparing financial reporting and management information packs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations across Australia and Asia Pacific, maintaining a comprehensive risk management framework, including periodic reviews of policies such as liquidity maintenance, asset management, regional liquidity, and funding policies.
  • Cash and Asset Management:
    • Effectively manage the bank's accounts, maximizing fund utilization.
    • Support in raising funding through wholesale markets while maintaining required regulatory levels.
    • Execute cost-effective Treasury products, ensuring local requirements and risk parameters are fulfilled.
    • Manage FX Spot, FX Swaps, Interest Rate and Cross Currency Swaps, Repo, and bond purchases.
    • Develop an investor base to diversify funding sources and enhance liquidity position for the Bank.
  • Other:
    • Manage interest rate and FX risk levels of Treasury.
    • Provide analysis and advice on liquidity usage and transfer pricing implications.
    • Maintain enhanced Treasury Management Information reports and presentations.
  • Working Conditions:
    • This role operates within a normal office environment with little exposure to adverse working conditions.
    • Remote work may be required from time to time.
    • Significant analytical work, conflicting priorities, and project timelines can cause work pressures.
