This forward-thinking opportunity enables you to foster cutting-edge research in Robotics and Automation, working closely with talented students and esteemed colleagues. You will be responsible for teaching and developing curricula for undergraduate and postgraduate students in cutting-edge areas like Robot Manipulators, Automation, Mobile Robots, and Mechatronics.
In addition to your academic responsibilities, you will conduct industry-relevant research with opportunities for collaboration and high-impact outcomes. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the School's and wider University's activities, promoting equity and diversity.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Engineering or a closely related field with expertise relevant to Robotics and Automation. Additionally, they will be an innovative educator with experience delivering undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching in at least two of the listed areas.
They must also have HDR supervision experience, with demonstrated success in supervising or co-supervising research students. Industry engagement and proven ability to contribute to both the School and wider University activities are essential qualifications for this role.
