As a Procurement Manager at CHEP, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's profitability and sustainability. You will be responsible for driving value through strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure the commercial elements of spend are executed with vendors to enable the delivery of value to the CHEP business.
  • Manage key strategic direct and/or indirect categories based on knowledge and experience, ensuring a sound understanding of strategic and operational business priorities.
  • Build effective relationships with business stakeholders, including suppliers, to ensure contract management is undertaken in line with the global procurement policy.
  • Ensure supplier performance and relationship management processes are undertaken, and support the continued implementation of the preferred supplier program in Australia.
  • Participate in the integrated business planning/S&OP process, providing insights, trends, risks, and opportunities to enable Brambles to achieve operational and strategic objectives and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain, and logistics or a related discipline.
  • Strategic mindset and procurement experience across both direct and indirect categories.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • A self-starter, curious, and able to work autonomously.

Preferred Education: Bachelors - Business Administration/Management

Preferred Level of Work Experience: 7 - 10 years
