Aircraft Operations Coordinator

Rex seeks reliable individuals as Aircraft Support Officers at Melbourne Airport. As part of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations on the ground for safe and timely departure and arrival of aircraft.
Key duties include marshalling aircraft, holding safety as a core value, assisting in loading and unloading baggage and cargo, proper handling, sorting, and delivery of baggage while adhering to safety procedures, supporting ramp operations, positioning of ground equipment and waste cart, operating and maintaining ground handling equipment such as tugs, loaders, and belt loaders.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in aviation or a similar role, be highly motivated, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
To be considered for this position, applicants must hold an Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC), current Driver's Licence, and ability to hold an Airport authority to drive airside license (ADA). They should also be physically fit, able to lift heavy objects, and work in outdoor environments. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
