About the Role

As an English Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative, and engaging pedagogy.

You will work closely with our academic team to deliver a rich, relevant, and holistic curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our students. The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to Catholic Education and a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and deliver engaging and effective English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence.
  3. Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs that align with the college’s mission and values.
  4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
  5. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and stay up-to-date with best practices in education.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Education
  • Active accreditation with NSW Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Experience in teaching English Stages 4, 5 & 6
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education in Sydney Catholic Schools (desirable)
