Heavy Haulage Driver Opportunity

Are you an experienced heavy haulage driver looking for a new challenge? Workfast is seeking a skilled driver to join our team in a key role within the waste management industry.

The ideal candidate will have a valid HR drivers licence and extensive experience driving front and rear lift trucks. They will also be physically fit, healthy, and able to pass a pre-employment medical if required.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term work, with excellent rates of pay and a great work-life balance. You will be working with a great team of drivers and machine operators, collecting recyclable materials across Sydney.

About the Job:

  • Driving various heavy rigid trucks, including rear and front lift loaders around Sydney.
  • Opportunity to work on weekends and enjoy plenty of overtime.
  • Working with a great team of drivers and machine operators.
  • Recycled materials collected will include wood, paper and cardboard.
  • Some manual loading may be required when driving in tighter areas.
  • Early morning starts, typically between 2am and 3am.
  • A competitive hourly rate plus penalties.

Requirements:

  • Holding a valid HR Drivers Licence as a minimum.
  • Experience driving front and rear lift trucks is highly desirable.
  • Being physically fit and healthy.
  • Having at least 3-4 years' experience as a truck driver.
  • Experience working within the Waste Management sector is essential.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical if required.
  • Ideally having own transport and being able to travel to Southern Sydney daily.
