Occupational Therapist - Mental Health Specialist

Mental health occupational therapists play a vital role in helping patients recover from mental illness. As a graduate occupational therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, developing your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices and best available research
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families
  • Conduct assessments, interventions, and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness and develop strategies for improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Approved degree in Occupational Therapy and current/pending registration with the relevant governing body
  • Current driver's license (for community rotation)
  • Full working rights within the country
  • Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
