Occupational Therapist

SAL Consulting is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Northern Territory. As a key member of our Allied Health team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred services to individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized intervention plans to support clients with intellectual disabilities and trauma.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support and develop strategies for clients with complex needs.
- Utilize a range of assessment tools, including sensory profiling and functional assessments, to inform treatment plans.
- Provide training and education to clients, families, and support workers to promote independence and empowerment.
- Participate in care team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized plans.
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background in working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and trauma. You will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA. Desirable skills and experience include:
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs and their families.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills, including sensory profiling and functional assessments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and provide training and education to clients and support workers.
