Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled tyre technician to join our team working on an exciting new project in North West Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remove and re-fit rims and wheel assemblies ensuring high quality workmanship
  • Conduct regular tyre inflation pressure checks, adjust and report to supervisor
  • Provide assistance with general maintenance and servicing of mobile plant and equipment in a safe, efficient and productive manner
  • Monitor plant and equipment condition to ensure correct operation
  • Check and maintain correct fluid and oil levels on machinery
  • Collect data relating to machine oil/fuel consumption for analysis and improvement

Requirements

  • Hold a Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology
  • Minimum of 12 months experience working as a tyre fitter on heavy mining equipment
  • Possess a valid White Card
  • Hold an Australian HR Driver's Licence
