Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacist to join our team in a dynamic hospital environment. The role involves providing pharmaceutical care to consumers and supporting services within the NSLHD.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, provide education and medicines information services to consumers and healthcare professionals, and participate in the development of clinical pharmacy practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to consumers within the NSLHD
  • Support pharmacist-led services and activities
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the development of clinical pharmacy practice
  • Develop and deliver education programs for consumers, carers and families, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Pharmacist qualification
  • Current registration as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
