Clinical Research Nurse Job Opportunity

The role of the Clinical Research Nurse is pivotal in the successful execution of clinical trials for various studies. As a key member of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, this position ensures each trial is conducted efficiently, ethically, and with the highest standards of participant safety and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement clinical trial activities as part of a dynamic team environment
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care and monitor the safety and wellbeing of trial participants throughout the study
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, administer investigational and standard of care medication, and closely monitor for adverse events
  • Collect, document, and manage clinical trial data in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with principal investigators, clinical trial co-ordinators, clinical trial pharmacy, clinical trial laboratory and all site staff to ensure seamless trial delivery
  • Support trial-related administrative activities, training, and mentoring of less-experienced research staff where applicable

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing with at least 3-4 years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in clinical research, preferably with exposure to industry-sponsored clinical trials of at least 2 years
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to ethical research practices
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team environment
  • Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and relevant regulatory guidelines is highly regarded
