Mental Health Lead Practitioner Role in Out of Home Care

This role is for a highly skilled and experienced lead practitioner to join our out of home care mental health services team. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work with vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement high-quality trauma-informed mental health services for children and young people in out of home care.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to team members, including training and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, community agencies, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of child and youth mental health, as well as experience working with complex cases and challenging behaviors. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field and/or experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.
