Visual Merchandising Opportunity

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Visual Merchandiser.

This is a unique opportunity for someone to showcase their creativity and passion for visual display, and provide an exceptional shopping experience for customers.

The successful applicant will report to the Store Manager and be responsible for:

  • Receiving donations of household items from the public and businesses;
  • Selecting and displaying donated goods in the shop's various areas, with a focus on the Bric-A-Brac section;
  • Working closely with the Store Manager to achieve visual objectives;
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure maximum customer satisfaction;
  • Demonstrating attention to detail, creative flair, and an ability to showcase unique items.

Training will be provided as needed for specific tasks related to OP SHOP display. The position is for 2-3 days per week, with some flexibility in hours.

About the Role:

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, able to work independently, and has excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain visually appealing displays in the shop;
  • Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals;
  • Contribute to the development of new visual merchandising ideas and concepts;
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

What You Will Need:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and practices;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 20kg).
