As a Research and Development Scientist, you will be part of an innovative team in Melbourne, Australia, expanding our R&D capabilities to develop new products.
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled liquid chromatography specialist to work closely with our Chief Product Officer on investigative and scientific efforts in product development. Key responsibilities include:
- Conceiving, designing, and contributing to product research/development and applications.
- Developing and contributing to quality control workflows for IonOpticks products.
- Researching and developing new quality control workflows to improve efficiency, precision, and accuracy.
- Contributing to the production of marketing materials and presenting research reports at internal and external meetings.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 2+ years' experience in the use of liquid chromatography, ideally in the context of LC-MS.
- Strong evidence of original intellectual input into research and applications.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
