Airframe Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of aircraft maintenance and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of aviation regulations and procedures, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks on aircraft including inspections, repairs and replacements of components
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure that all work is carried out safely and efficiently
• Identify and report any defects or issues with aircraft systems or components

You will also have the opportunity to complete an NDI traineeship, which will provide you with advanced skills and knowledge in non-destructive testing.

• Cert IV in Aeroskills (Avionics, Mechanical, or Structures) - Essential
• Able to meet near vision and colour perception requirements of EN4179 - Essential
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and well-developed written and verbal communication skills - Essential
• Understanding of Non-Destructive Testing applications in aviation and how they are applied within the DASR 145 regulatory framework - highly desirable
• Boeing 737-800 Series aircraft experience - highly desirable
• Experience with ADF products and processes - highly desirable
• Confined Space Entry (CSE) qualification - highly desirable
• Aviation NDT Level 2 qualifications per NAS410 or EN4179 in LPT, MPT, ECT and UT - desirable
