Metallurgy Specialist

The company is seeking a Metallurgist to join its team in a permanent position, with opportunities for local applicants to work from Kalbarri or Geraldton.

The role involves leading a skilled team of laboratory personnel, ensuring the metallurgical performance of the plant, and reporting results. The Metallurgist will also be responsible for liaising with mining, product, and maintenance teams, coordinating plant surveys, and recommending changes to improve plant performance.

To be successful in this role, applicants must have a strong focus on safety, tertiary qualifications in metallurgy or a related science, and experience leading a small team. The ideal candidate will also have strong communication skills, be able to act with integrity, and be comfortable seeking feedback and improving their performance.
