Production Operator Job Description

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team in Clayton, Vic, Australia.

  • This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
  • You will work on a shift-based roster.

The ideal candidate will have experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing, but it's not required. Familiarity with GMP and SAP is an asset.

Main Responsibilities:

  • FOLLOW approved manufacturing and testing instructions.
  • OPERATE equipment to dispense and package finished goods.
  • PERFORM large- and small-scale formulation and filtration of solutions and gels.
  • ACCURATELY record material movement using SAP R3.
  • CARRY OUT in-process quality control checks and collect QC samples.
  • MAINTAIN a clean and hygienic production environment.
  • FOLLOW OH&S policies and GMP principles.
  • WORK closely with Production Supervisors and Engineers on process improvement initiatives.
  • SUPPORT document maintenance and provide valid data.
  • CONTRIBUTE to safety initiatives by reporting hazards and participating in drills.
