Key Responsibilities

  • Operating and monitoring plant equipment, processes, and systems to meet operational targets
  • Performing preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on plant assets
  • Troubleshooting and rectifying equipment/process faults and alarms
  • Conducting laboratory testing, analysis, and sample collection
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports on plant performance
  • Participating in an oncall roster and attending call-outs as required
  • Adhering to all health, safety, environmental, and quality policies/procedures
  • Assisting with plant optimisation, commissioning, and reporting activities
  • Providing training and supervision to other operators as needed

Requirements

  • A trade qualification or water treatment operations experience preferred
  • Experience in the maintenance of pumps, pipe lines and other mechanical equipment, desirable
  • A general technical/mechanical aptitude
