Job Title: Care Service Companion

Estimated Salary: AU$55,000 - AU$65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description: As a Care Service Companion with Advantaged Care, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our residents, promoting their independence and creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere. You will work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional service and ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities and personal care
  • Promote resident independence and participate in goal setting and planning
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment that fosters dignity and respect
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families and colleagues
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  • 6 months' experience in aged care or a related field (preferable)
  • Good understanding of the 8 new quality standards in aged care
  • A strong passion for quality in aged care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and cover shifts as required
