As an AI/ML and MLOps Field Engineer at Canonical, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of emerging technologies and tools, and to design and deploy AI and ML infrastructures, data processing pipelines, and multi-cluster distributed training.

About the Role

At Canonical, we are committed to innovation and excellence in the field of AI and ML. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an AI/ML and MLOps Field Engineer. The successful candidate will have a strong background in AI, ML, and MLOps, and will be able to design and deploy complex AI and ML systems, as well as to work with customers to understand their business requirements and to advise them on the best solutions for their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy AI and ML infrastructures, data processing pipelines, and multi-cluster distributed training
  • Work directly with customers to understand their business requirements and to advise them on the best solutions for their needs
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement new features and capabilities
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI, ML, and MLOps, and to apply this knowledge to improve our solutions and services

Requirements

  • Strong background in AI, ML, and MLOps
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of time
