Job Description

The role of a classroom teacher is pivotal in enhancing student performance and educational outcomes at our school.

An essential aspect of this work involves increasing staff knowledge within the school about student learning and high-quality instruction.

We are seeking a teacher who possesses content knowledge and pedagogical practice to cater to the diverse needs of all students, model exemplary classroom practices, and mentor/coach other teachers.

The ideal candidate will provide expert advice on teaching approaches and assist staff in using student data to inform teaching practices that facilitate targets related to improving student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons for years 7-10 English and Humanities students
  • Mentor and coach fellow teachers to enhance their instructional practices
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve student learning outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials
