Partners Group: Private Equity Investment Opportunities

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Investment Associate to join our Australian Private Equity direct investment team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be part of a seamless local and international Partners Group team working to review and source, select, acquire, manage and ultimately exit PE investments in Australia across all sectors. Reporting to Managing Director, Head of Private Equity Australia, the Associate's specific role is to support the investment team in all aspects of the investment life cycle, including industry research, due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio company management.

About You
  • Excellent financial analysis skills, including high proficiency in financial modelling.
  • Superb quality written work product: coherent, persuasive with high attention to detail.
  • Application of critical thinking in prioritizing work and analyzing investment opportunities, remaining goal focused in fast-paced and dynamic transaction environments.
  • Strong team skills: ability to operate within team structures with clearly defined roles and responsibilities, co-operate effectively with junior and senior colleagues (locally and internationally).
  • Able to rapidly prepare and assimilate industry research from internal and external sources.
