About the Role

The Business Intelligence Developer plays a key role in providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions at Zinfra. As an Operational Analyst, you will develop and maintain tools, mechanisms, and reports to effectively manage forecasting and resourcing of the Gas Services Portfolio of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate financial forecasts, establish baselines, and facilitate change management for the Portfolio of Work.
  • Develop and support tools required for forecasting programs by WBS, activity, and region.
  • Analyze program financials, including budgets, unit rates, run rates, commitments, and accrual/cost pass-through activities.
  • Monitor program performance across the business and collaborate with other regions to optimize synergies and improve long-term cost efficiencies.
  • Identify and communicate potential risk scenarios and management strategies related to the program of work.
  • Provide reliable data and reports for review by delivery teams to monitor the program's progress.
  • Apply analytical skills to support the delivery of the program.
  • Drive real-time analysis and implementation of solutions to address program-related challenges.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Finance, or Business Management (Desirable).
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, organization, prioritization, timely decision-making, delegation, managing, and measuring work.
  • Knowledge of field requirements, construction methodologies, and work practices within a utility environment.
  • Experience developing and managing systems and tools that provide clear visibility of demand and supply status.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities effectively.

Essential Experience:

  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
  • Experience in utilities or industrial works.
  • Experience managing routine CAPEX and OPEX programs and projects, involving detailed stakeholder negotiations to ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and continually improving operational processes and systems.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum
