Job Description

This role involves traveling between clients' homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, traveling to medical appointments
  • Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
  • Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
  • Performing work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator

Services are generally provided during business hours, Monday to Friday.

Requirements
  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
  • Smartphone with internet access
