We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our team. As an Undergraduate Accountant, you will have the opportunity to develop strong bookkeeping and payroll foundations, then progress rapidly into tax, consulting, and advisory roles.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for coding and reconciling transactions, maintaining orderly digital files, and preparing source data for BAS.
  • You will work with various accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and Reckon, using documented checklists.
  • You will assist with AP/AR and payroll basics, prepare BAS workpapers, and support simple business tax return packs.

Key Responsibilities:

About You

  • You are a current undergraduate student in Accounting or Commerce, with a background in accounting and a strong desire to pursue a long-term career in tax accounting.
  • You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and work effectively under pressure.
  • You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely, and present findings professionally.
