The Chief Product Strategist plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the product vision and strategy at Serko. As a senior member of the product organization, you will leverage your expertise in product management, business strategy, market dynamics, and leadership to guide large-scale product initiatives across multiple streams.

A strong background in the Travel domain or TMC industry combined with a solid understanding of technology products is essential for this position. This role is open to both Australian and New Zealand candidates.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and communicating a clear product vision aligned with Serko's business goals and market trends
  • Identifying and validating market opportunities and user needs to develop a holistic product strategy and roadmap that supports a wider portfolio-level strategy
  • Conducting market research, competitive analysis, and gathering customer feedback to inform product decisions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of the product roadmap
  • Monitoring progress, managing risks, and adjusting plans as necessary to deliver products on time and within budget
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Product Managers and Associate Product Managers, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering their professional development

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven track record of leadership in product management with experience in guiding successful product launches and leading cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of product management principles and best practices, with proven experience in market analysis, product strategy development, and product lifecycle management
  • Strong Travel domain knowledge in a SaaS environment
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills with experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using insights to drive product decisions and measure impact

This role offers:

  • A competitive base salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
