Leading Aged Care Services as Executive Director

Miller Leith is seeking a dynamic and values-driven leader to head its team in delivering high-quality aged care services.
The Role Overview
This newly created role will provide strategic oversight of aged care services across residential sites, independent living units, and community-based services. The successful candidate will participate in the South West Local Health Service Network and ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care while upholding compliance with aged care legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of approximately 160 staff members and manage resources effectively.
- Focus on Leadership and Strategic Management, Clinical and Care Governance, Compliance and Accreditation, Financial and Resource Management, Workforce and Human Resource Management, Stakeholder and Community Engagement, Consumer-Centred Care and Resident Advocacy, Risk Management and Emergency Preparedness.
Required Skills & Experience
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with executive-level experience, a strong grasp of aged care legislation and quality standards, and the ability to drive transformational change across complex teams.
Additional Requirements
- Proven experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams and leading organisational change, service improvement, and compliance reform.
- Strong knowledge of workforce development, industrial relations, and employee wellbeing strategies in complex care environments.
