At Balance Recruitment, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead the evaluation, planning, and enhancement of the school's student information system's transformation. Your key responsibilities will include identifying gaps in current processes, refining integrations across departments, and ensuring the successful implementation of new improvements that optimize operational workflows, enhance efficiency, and reduce manual workloads for staff.

The role will see you perform the following key tasks:

  • System Gap Analysis: Conduct a thorough evaluation of the current state, identifying gaps, integration, and operational efficiency.
  • Process Mapping: Collaborate with academic, administrative, and support staff to document current processes, identify inefficiencies, and suggest improvements.
  • Integration Refinement: Work closely with stakeholders across all departments to refine and improve system integration, eliminating data silos and ensuring seamless communication.

You will bring to the role:

  • An in-depth understanding of Student Management Systems (SIS).
  • ERP and Enterprise Systems: Knowledge of how student management systems interact with enterprise systems like HR, Finance, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Process Mapping Skills: Ability to map and document current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
  • Gap Analysis Expertise: Expertise in conducting thorough evaluations of existing systems to identify gaps in functionality, integration, and support for key business processes.
  • Integration Knowledge: Proficiency in integrating large-scale systems like Finance, HR, Learning & Teaching, and ICT. Experience working with APIs and middleware to ensure seamless data flow across different platforms.
  • Data Migration Expertise: Technical knowledge to manage the migration of large volumes of data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity throughout the process.
  • Data Analytics Tools: Proficiency with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to analyze system performance and generate reports for stakeholders.
  • Data Cleansing and Validation: Skills in preparing and cleansing data for migrations, ensuring the data transferred into any new system is accurate and reliable.

Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst using either Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
