We are seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join our team at Duratec Australia. As a Bid Writer, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality proposal documentation that contributes to the overall success of our precontracts department and business.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret and understand tender response documentation to develop effective bid responses.
- Write and edit bid responses, with a focus on construction methodologies, narratives, and management plans.
- Manage and prioritize multiple bids simultaneously, meeting strict deadlines.
- Collaborate with bid teams through kick-off meetings, review meetings, and information gathering sessions.
- Technical expertise, with the ability to interpret drawings and construction concepts.
- High-level reading, comprehension, and writing skills, with the ability to tailor style and language to internal or external audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software suite.
- Ability to operate across hybrid teams, including virtual and face-to-face, remote, regional, and metro environments.
- Self-organization and strong initiative, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- APMP certification.
- Onsite or office-based Engineering, Mining, or Construction experience.
- Previous experience in proposal or technical writing within the remedial maintenance, construction, and/or Defence industries.
