
Cybersecurity Platform Developer

We are seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Platform Developer to manage and develop our critical Network Security platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop Suncorp's critical Network Security platforms, supporting operations across on-prem and cloud environments.
- Schedule and execute regular maintenance tasks for firewalls, proxies, load balancers, encryption systems to ensure customer access to secure systems and applications.
- Drive automation, tooling, and self-service initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Contribute to secure solution design, troubleshooting, DevSecOps initiatives and collaborate with teams using Agile and Lean practices.
- Lead system health monitoring, incident response, platform upgrades, and documentation efforts.
- 5+ years of experience in IT security, including enterprise environments.
- Advanced skills with key platforms: F5 Load Balancers & Application Firewall; Netskope Web Proxy Services.
- AWS or Azure experience, OSI model knowledge.
- Ability to analyze packet captures and apply secure development practices.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery capability.
