We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a First Year Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the automotive industry.
- As a mechanical technician apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting experienced technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, maintaining a safe work environment, and participating in on-the-job training and education programs.
Reporting to the Team Leader, this role is offered on a four-year full-time contract basis. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Attending and participating in all required training and completion of logbooks
- Developing the ability to perform quality servicing and mechanical repairs under supervision and guidance
- Maintaining a safe work environment and cleanliness of the work bay/workshop
- General administration duties
Required qualifications and skills include a strong desire to pursue a career in mechanical with a keen interest in the automotive industry (light vehicle), demonstrated teamwork, proven reliability and punctuality, established flexibility, initiative, enthusiasm, self-motivation, positive attitude, sound customer service skills, and a valid WA 'C' class driving licence.
This role requires flexibility to transfer to other centres when required and a highly motivated, team-focused attitude.
