Job Title

Thredbo Race & Event Dept Assistant

Job Description:

As a key member of our Thredbo Race and Event Department team, you will be working in a fast-paced outdoor environment assisting with the setup, preparation, and maintenance of our on-mountain ski and snowboard racecourses. Your role will involve working closely with our Mountain Operations departments, including Grooming and Lifts, to deliver small and large events from club races to internationally recognized competitions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong intermediate or advanced skiing ability (Ski Level 7 or 8)
  • Good physical condition with ability to lift 20kg and move bulky loads over snow
  • Current driver's license (provisional level or above)
  • Prior work experience in and around racecourses as an athlete, coach, or race worker, driving snowmobiles or motorbikes, or administration skills
  • Hold or eligible to obtain a NSW Working with Children check (WWCC)
