As a Registered Midwife with our team, you will play a vital role in coordinating and delivering midwifery care to patients/clients of the hospital and health service. You will work collaboratively with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing emotional support and guidance to patients/clients during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum periods;
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient care and communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams;
- Coordinating and delivering high-quality midwifery care to patients/clients of the hospital and health service;
Requirements for this role include:
- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia;
- Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to identify key messages, issues, and concerns when communicating with others;
- Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.
