About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Dianella Secondary College. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe school environment, including internal and external cleaning duties, maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, and other general cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal cleaning duties, including toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, and rubbish removal
  • External cleaning duties, including veranda and covered area cleaning, rubbish removal, drinking trough cleaning, window cleaning, and cobweb removal
  • Stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, window cleaning, and shampooing of carpets during vacation times
  • Maintenance of cleaning equipment and adherence to safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices
Requirements
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Organized, honest, reliable, and punctual
  • Excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices

Eligibility
