Job Description:

The opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology has arisen within our laboratory operations team. We are seeking a skilled Assembly and Testing Specialist to join us in delivering a disruptive advantage to support Defence operational capabilities.

This is an exciting chance for the right individual to play a vital role in the assembly, testing, and technical troubleshooting of hardware and aircraft systems within our lab environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary hardware, software, and tools are viable and functioning properly.

The successful candidate will work closely with our MQ-28 Engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure alignment on production goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Avionics hardware support, preferably in an ICT lab test environment
  • Proven experience as a technician or similar role in software development and IT operations
  • Strong understanding of electrical components, assembly techniques, and quality assurance practices
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly to team members
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and support colleagues in achieving production goals
