Cummins Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional HSE Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and sustaining a positive health, safety, and environmental culture across our sites in Queensland, Papua New Guinea, and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental management systems to ensure compliance with Cummins internal requirements, applicable regulations, and industry standards.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals to identify and mitigate risks, develop and implement corrective actions, and monitor performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance employee engagement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and maintain a positive reputation.
- Provide subject matter expertise on health, safety, and environmental matters, including emergency preparedness and response, pollution prevention, and environmental sustainability.
- Drive improvement initiatives to enhance health, safety, and environmental performance metrics, using a risk-based and data-driven approach.
- Lead site health, safety, and environmental management systems reviews, ensuring compliance with Cummins internal requirements.
- Coach and develop direct reports and cross-functional teams to enhance their skills and knowledge in health, safety, and environmental management.
Requirements:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or Environmental Science.
- Professional certification in HSE-related field preferred.
- Significant relevant experience, including management of health, safety, and/or environmental ISO Standards.
- 5-7 years of experience, 1-2 years management experience.
