Generator Service Electrician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join our team at Australia Wide Engineering Recruitment in Epping. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventative and breakdown maintenance of equipment to Australian standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance of equipment to Australian standards
  • Assist with new equipment designs, builds and commissioning
  • Upgrades and testing of outgoing rental fleet to ensure asset reliability
  • General warehouse/workshop maintenance and testing requirements
  • Strictly follow all required OH&S procedures

Requirements:
  • An Electrical A Grade Licence is essential
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with engines, generators and lighting towers essential
  • Understanding of battery systems and inverters for portable mains power supply
  • A team player with a positive, self-motivated and proactive attitude is essential
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with a high attention to detail

What We Offer:
  • Day shift hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday
  • $110k-$120k + OT + super + vehicle + phone
