About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team at Westpac Group. The successful candidate will be part of the Risk and Regulatory Delivery team, which is responsible for delivering complex Business & Wealth transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the achievement of business objectives by working with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information, and systems.
- Perform gap analysis and provide recommendations to the business for operational and data workflows.
- Understand and analyze the business portfolio for data-related insights and deliver solutions with high quality.
- Design end-to-end ETL processes for large data sets, ensuring integration with PowerBI and other applications.
- Develop user-friendly and intuitive PowerBI dashboards for value-add insights, acting as a trusted advisor to the business.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Data Analyst experience with relevant Risk and Regulatory delivery experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in end-to-end project delivery.
- Power BI.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Intermediate Python and Excel skills.
- Experience within Financial Services is desirable but not essential.
