About the Role
  • Develop age-appropriate, fun, and engaging activities for children in the OSHC program.
  • Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Build positive relationships with parents, staff, and children.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment for the OSHC program.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about their work, with a positive attitude and experience working in a fast-paced, supportive environment that's fun, safe, and nurturing for children.

As a Program Educator, you'll have:

  • The ability to work well in a team.
  • Patience and empathy when working with children.
  • Knowledge of child development principles.

Requirements include:

  • A completed Certificate 3 or Diploma in Outside School Hours Care or Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • A Certificate or Diploma in Teacher Aide/Education Support.
  • One year of full-time equivalent study in any of the following qualifications: Primary, Secondary, or Special Education, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Diversional Therapy, Speech Pathology, Creative Arts, Fine Arts, Drama, Music, Sport, and Recreational.
  • A current Blue Card, First Aid & CPR, or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous experience working with diverse communities is an asset.
