Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Engagement professional to join our team. As a key member of our marketing unit, you will play a crucial role in delivering an integrated marketing strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and audience growth for our region's creative and cultural offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a data-driven content creation approach to tell the story of our region's creative and cultural scene, enhancing Geelong's brand as a creative city.
  • Manage and evaluate Arts Geelong's online presence, including website, to increase engagement and build audiences.
  • Collect and analyse data to monitor and improve engagement and report regularly on audience growth and other relevant KPIs.
  • Collaborate with internal communications and marketing units to develop, deliver, and evaluate an integrated marketing strategy.
  • Establish and develop strategic marketing partnerships with external stakeholders to promote our creative and cultural offerings.
  • Build strong relationships with the local creative and cultural sector, internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain industry networks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Media, Journalism, Arts and Cultural Management or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of diverse and contemporary marketing platforms and approaches.
  • Experience in content creation, communications, social media, and analytics.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, including the ability to write in different styles dependent upon the medium and the audience.
  • Project management skills and the capacity to work effectively to deadlines within a small busy team.
