As a key member of the team, you will manage commercial litigation cases, communicating directly with clients and preparing essential court documents such as pleadings, briefs, and motions. You will also have the opportunity to negotiate settlements, attend mediations and court hearings, and manage court processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a variety of defendant insurance claims, focusing on professional indemnity, life insurance, and public/product liability
- Handle commercial litigation matters and provide direct client advice
- Prepare court documents, attend mediations, and manage settlement negotiations
- Mentor junior legal staff and provide guidance on case management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other practitioners
- 3-5 years of post-admission experience in insurance or commercial litigation
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with clients and other practitioners
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
- A sharp eye for detail and strong time management skills
