About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Geriatrician Specialist to join our team at SA Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive geriatric medicine services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality geriatric care to patients in various settings, including inpatient and community-based health initiatives.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Contribute to teaching, training, and research initiatives to enhance professional development and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
  • Be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to navigate complex situations with resilience and integrity.
