The Role:

We are seeking a Full Time cleaning position at Australia Post in Welshpool.

The roster for this position is Monday to Friday 10PM to 6AM.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has commercial or retail cleaning experience and wants to be part of a team that makes a difference.

The position is paid in accordance with the Cleaning Services Award 2020.

Role Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is essential for location as public transport is not nearby.
  • You must be able to work throughout night shifts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Prior commercial or retail cleaning experience is preferred (on the job training will be provided).
  • An understanding of chemical handling procedures and proper cleaning techniques is essential.
  • Cleaning Machinery experience (scrubbing, buffing, car park sweeper) is preferred.
  • You must be physically fit to carry out standard duties and able to walk for lengthy periods.
  • Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions are necessary.
  • You must be able to communicate in verbal and written English.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays is required.
  • You must have valid work rights in Australia.
