About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to support our product development engineers. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability and commissioning of supporting test equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor product development engineers on manufacturing best practices.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are available and in optimal condition.
  • Construct and manage test systems, fixtures, load boxes, wiring harnesses, and test equipment.
  • Perform testing activities following international standards.
  • Support compilation of test reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Techncial qualifications in Mechanical or Mechatronics.
  • Experience in product testing within the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Understanding of international testing standards.
  • Experience in operating test equipment.

Technical Skills:

  • Mechanical fabrication experience - machining, grinding, lathe operation, brazing, welding.
  • Electrical skills - soldering, crimping, wiring.
  • Programming experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office & MS Project.

  • Passionate, self-driven, proactive, and accountable.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
