Job Summary

Vehicle Spraypainters and Sandblasters are needed to join our team at a state-of-the-art workshop. We offer top industry rates, exciting opportunities, stable hours, career development, and a family-owned business culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply paint to vehicles with precision, achieving high-quality finishes.
  • Prepare truck bodies, cabs, and components by removing rust, paint, and contaminants using blasting equipment.
  • Sand, mask, and prime surfaces to achieve flawless finishes.
  • Remove minor scratches, swirl marks, and paint imperfections using machine polishers and hand tools.
  • Carry out preparation, sand blasting, and spray painting of truck cabs, buses, and truck bodies.
  • Work closely with team members to maintain repair timelines and meet customer expectations.
  • Follow safety protocols, quality standards, and industry regulations.
  • Maintain and check tools and blasting/painting equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the automotive repair industry.
  • Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing or relevant experience.
  • 2+ years' experience.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Familiarity with industry standard tools, equipment, and techniques.
  • Sound time management and interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Current Driver's license.
