This program is designed to accelerate your career by building on your bachelor's degree with tailored practical skill development.
You will gain invaluable employment experience at a world-leading research and learning institution, contributing to the creation and sharing of knowledge that positively influences society.
Key Responsibilities- Information & Administrative Support: Provide advice to stakeholders, process routine requests and documentation, and offer support to committees.
- Strategic & Operational Assistance: Assist with strategy development and implementation, internal reporting, quality assurance, and risk management processes.
- Stakeholder Liaison & Content Management: Liaise with staff and students across various units and external stakeholders on specific matters, and assist with managing information accuracy in University databases, websites, and publications.
- Event Participation & Professional Growth: Assist with event planning and participate in key events like Open Days and Orientation, and engage in professional development opportunities provided by the University.
The successful candidate will be required to provide evidence confirming they are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
Essential Criteria- Completion of a bachelor's degree within the last three years (awarded before commencing the program).
- Demonstrated organisational skills, including prioritisation, meeting deadlines, and working with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- High-level written and oral communication skills, coupled with effective interpersonal skills, particularly when engaging with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- High-level computer proficiency with software like Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word), with a commitment to diversity, inclusion, ethical practice principles, and workplace health and safety.
